We recently completed this garden refurbishment project in Leigh-on-Sea, addressing multiple issues caused by water ingress and poor original construction. The garden room had suffered from significant timber rot, largely due to OSB boarding and render being taken down to ground level, which allowed moisture to soak into the structure.
Our team removed all damaged timber and replaced it with waterproof boarding, ensuring a gap was left at floor level to prevent future moisture problems. The entire structure was then re-rendered to provide a clean, durable finish.
We also removed the existing rendered patio walls, which had begun to crack and allow water ingress. All retaining areas were professionally tanked before being re-rendered using an adhesive base coat and a colour-matched silicone render, seamlessly blending with the main house.
